Imagining Life in the Future

I have experienced life changing events in my time. I mean being born myself, that was life changing. Going to school, meeting my future wife, getting married, becoming a rabbi... All of these things are life changing. But this event will probably take the cake. How can it not? This morning I walked into the "guest bedroom," and imagined its transformation into the "nursery." I tried to look at the walls in their future yellow. I tried to picture the furniture that we picked out. I tried, and it was tough. I tried to imagine it being a monday morning in March and Carrie is at work, and I am here on my day off and "lego" is waking up, and I peek in to see if it is a real wake up or will (s)he go back to sleep. I cannot wait for this life changing event... It is so exciting.
